Gents 40" Bernard Weatherill, Black Hunt Coat.
Tailored for a Colonel of the Royal Northumberland Fusiliers in 1973.
A heavyweight cavalry twill morning style coat - having a seamed waist, panelled back and sloping cutaway fronts.
A single pocket to the front waist seam, 2 buttoned inner breast pockets and 2 buttoned poachers pockets to the skirt.
Half lined in tattersall check wool, which extends down the sleeves and a wool lining to the skirt.
A 3 button front, with 2 buttons to each working cuff and 2 on the back.
Button over storm collar attachment, which buttons underneath the collar when not in use.
Saddle flap to centre vent.
Age related wear and small repairs to the inside and a small repair to the front left of the coat.
Collar appears to be a recent addition and may possibly be stitched over a hunt collar.
In good condition and ready to wear - with defects above, reflected in the price.
